Maxum - in your element
Quality Control
Great acceleration, a smooth ride and precision handling are key for active boaters who want to do it all. That's why we employ cutting-edge technology, source top-quality parts and carefully monitor each step of the construction process. And with our extensive performance testing, you can count on Maxum to be ready for whatever you throw at it.
Integrated Hull System
Our integrated hull system is truly state-of-the-art. Maxum′s naval architects and engineers use Unigraphics CAD software to develop hull features that work together to create a smooth, responsive, agile ride. The result is enhanced acceleration, stability and comfort - allowing you to take full advantage of the potent MerCruiser® engine.
- Extended Running Surface A key feature on our 3 - series Sport Boats that improves performance and lift, especially important for water sports.
- Tapered Chine Improves running altitude and fuel efficiency by promoting lift. Also helps the boat transition to plane quickly when towing a skier or wakeboarder.
-
Large Reverse Lifting Strakes
Reduces resistance by optimally directing water flow along the hull, providing excellent tracking and handling.
Interlocking Structural Components (ISC)
For a strong, unified hull, key structural components are engineered to lock together in the construction process. The Maxum ISC includes fully encapsulated box beam stringers, an additional full-length stiffening grid and strategically placed bulkheads that work together for strength and rigidity. These parts virtually become a single unit, providing a smooth ride, unparalleled handling and supreme durability.
Lasting Lamination
Maxum uses the finest materials available for the advanced lamination process. Carefully selected and precisely applied materials work in concert for strength and durability. The outermost layer, ArmorFlex(tm) 954 Series Buff-Back Gelcoat, is exceptionally resilient, ensuring that your boat will look good for years to come. The end result is a remarkably long-lasting finish that is highly resistant to damage from impact, fading and cracking.
